Description
This steering box brace by Bad Axe is an affordable solution to enhance the durability of your 2003-2008 Ram 2500/3500’s steering box, reducing excessive play caused by wear and tear by supporting the bearing in the box. It is also fully compatible with Thuren and Carli torsion sway bars. We take pride in supporting smaller, USA-based brands that produce exceptional products, which is exactly what this brace is.
Please note that this box brace is unique to your steering box. If you have a factory or Redhead box, choose the factory option. If you have a 6 bolt Mopar Big Box, Redhead 6 bolt or an older PSC 6 bolt Box (PLEASE MEASURE), choose the 1.25″ option.
If you have the newer PSC box , or Borgeson big box, you most likely have the small shaft, but the big box. That said, please measure before ordering! A measurement of 7/8″ is small and just under 1.25″ is large (30mm).
This brace DOES NOT fit Power Wagons, and is not guaranteed to be compatible with snow plows.
